He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward and Georgina. He is survived by: his wife Janice; his grandchildren, Autumn, Marley, Macy, Nathan and Jax; his siblings, Betty Peirson (Tommy) and Wayne Monroe; and his siblings-in-law, Lynn Laviolette and Rick Nutley.

Donations, in lieu of flowers, to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Cancer Society or the Kingston Humane Society would be appreciated by his family.
