With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barrie James (Kingston, Ontario), born in Nelson, South Island, who passed away on October 4, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Frost and Jessie Frost (Collett); his sister Yvonne Mahan (Frost); and his niece Julie Batt (Mahan). He is survived by: his wife Virginia Frost (Peters); his sons, Andrew (Stephanie), Tim (Shawna) and Hugh (Sheila); and his niece Allison Mahan.
