It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Archdeacon Gordon Hendra (Kingston, Ontario), born in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on August 16, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick E. Hendra and Margaret S. Hendra (Lamb); and his brother Stanley Hendra. He is survived by: his wife Allie; his children, Cathie McCabe (Barry), Carol (Patrick Culver), John (Robin Benitz) and Peter; and his granddaughters, Kate Culver, Julia Hendra, Sarah McCabe and Alison Hendra.
Donations in his name can be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada and the Primate's World Relief and Development Fund.
