He was predeceased by: Carol Armit. He is survived by: his spouse Ellen Henderson of Kingston; his children, Alexis Armit of Hudson Bay, SK and Ethan Armit (Victoria) of Sudbury, ON.; his grandchild Theo; and his sisters, Holly Stephens (Chris) and Joan Macklin (Paul).
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Queen's University or the Friends of Ferris Provincial Park in Mr. Armit's memory.
