He was predeceased by: his parents, George Robertson and Elizabeth Robertson; his siblings, Leona Young (Bill) and Donald; and his granddaughter Jessica Ann Darling.

He is survived by: his wife Sheila Robertson; his children, Brian (Tina), James (Kelly), Ann (Ron Darling) and Tracy (Edward Uronick); his grandchildren, Annastasia (Trent), Timothy, Morgan (Schuyler), Bradley, Veronica, Elizabeth and Marie Lynne; his great grandchildren, Layton, Addison and Kahgee; and his siblings, Edna (Alex Stewart) and Ernie (Elaine). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
