He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Joanne Morris; his sister Joan; his brother-in-law Ted Ault; and his cousins, Betty Shaw (Bill) and Bill Paul (Evelyn).

He is survived by: his son Watson (Nini); and his nieces, Nancy Feasby (Wayne), Diane and Kathleen Gillespie (Don).
