He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Winnifred; his brothers, Jack and Jim; his sister-in-law Judy Mitchell; and also, Elsie, Norman Engel and Ken Engel.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Randy (Val) of Guelph, Patti Adair (Don) of Tiverton and Rick (Marion) of Toronto; his grandchildren, Matthew (Natalie), Michelle (Taras), Michael (Leona), Sam (Teresa), Lauren, Jennifer and Jillian; his siblings, Caroline Yundt of Stratford, Larry (Jane) of Miller Lake and Pat (Marie) of Hepworth; and his siblings-in-law, Ross Engel of Monkton and Betty Capling (Gary) of London.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce or the charity of your choice as expressions of sympathy and can be arranged online or by contacting the funeral home.
