He was predeceased by: his father Laird Schilbe. He is survived by: his mother Vivian Schilbe; and his siblings, Larry Schilbe, Marie Vanstone (Joe), Joan Schilbe and Lissa Kolkman (Robert). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
