She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Beaumont Hall of Smith Falls and Etta Bissell Hall of Brockville; and her husband William "Stewart" Gilbert. She is survived by: her adoptive sons, Timothy Gordon Gilbert and Geoffrey Scott Gilbert; her grandchildren, Alisha Reese and Chad Jacobs-Bieman; her great grandchild Aria Cathleen Reese; and her grandchildren, Kristen Copeland, Chandra Copeland and Olivia Freer.
