He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Helm and Marjorie Helm; his stepfather Robert Rouse; and his siblings-in-law, George Jackson, Joe Cowan and Barbara Cowan.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Helm; his children, Rob Helm (Amy), Paul Helm (Kelly) and Anne Lange (Larry); his grandchildren, Rebecca (Clark), John, Matthew, Ashlynn, Katrina, Bradley, Ben, Jeremy, Jacob and Abigail; his siblings, Joyce Jackson of London, Bill Helm (Marilyn) of Oakville and Marilyn Watson (Tom) of Calgary; and his siblings-in-law, Dave Cowan and Jeanne Cowan.
All attendees must wear a mask and respect physical distancing protocols.
Memorial donations to the Kincardine Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
