He was predeceased by: his parents, John Anderson and Isa Anderson; his siblings, Margaret Hardy, John Anderson and Moira McKenzie; his brother-in-law Jim McKenzie; his parents-in-law, Clarence and Wilma Coles; and his sister-in-law Connie Thompson.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth (Coles); his siblings, Evelyn Oppermann (Danny) and George Anderson; and his siblings-in-law, Sadie Anderson, Bruce Coles (late Beryl), Carolyn Coles (late Rick) and Jim Coles (late Mary). He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
