It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Hewitt (Kincardine, Ontario), who passed away on March 29, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandson Michael; his parents, James Hewitt and Violet Hewitt; his siblings, Francis Hewitt (Mabel), Audrey Bonnett (Norman), Wilbert Hewitt and Donna Carter (John); and his siblings-in-law, Charlie Hayes, Roy Collins, Gayle Collins and Irene Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Fern Hewitt; his children, Lin Hewitt (Joyce Anne) of Kincardine and Eric Hewitt (Marion) of Armow; his grandchildren, Steve Hewitt (Angie), Laurie Bell (Jay), Kevin Hewitt (Michelle) and Mark Hewitt (Brandy); his siblings, Allie Hayes of Kincardine and Ron Hewitt (Janice) of Kincardine; and his siblings-in-law, Eunice Hewitt of Lucknow, Helen Collins of Hanover, Shirley Collins of Merritt, B. C. and Gary Collins of Auburn. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations to the Kincardine Hospital Foundation or Anglican Church of the Messiah-Kincardine would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
