He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Johnston and Jean Johnston; and his siblings, Allan Johnston, Lois Johnston and Freeda Bailey (Brian).
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Johnston; his sons, Rick Johnston of Port Elgin, Larry Johnston (Donna) of Kitchener and Garry Johnston of Kincardine; his grandchildren, Colby, Teaghan, Lyndsey, Jaqui, Kayla, Cory, Madisyn and Matthew; and his brother Bob Johnston (Marilyn) of Ripley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Kincardine Minor Hockey Association (KMHA) would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
