He was predeceased by: his stepfather Roland Labonte; and his niece Taylor Fitzsimmons. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Smith (Kate); his parents, Didi Labonte (Steve Leturneau) and Geoffrey Smith; his children, Caitlyn Wittman (Rob) of Walkerton and Carly McLelland (Mark) of Hagersville; his pet Biffle; his siblings, Sue Fitzsimmons (Brad) and Ken Smith (Sandi); his sisters-in-law, Lori Shelton (Wayne), Sheryl Elliott (Jeff) and Sharon Moore (Mike); and his parents-in-law, Barry and Liz Schmidt. He is also survived by his family, life-long friends, and co-workers.
Anyone attending the Memorial Service must wear a mask.
