He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlotte Hayes and William Hayes; and his siblings, Nathaniel, William, Earl, Charles, Agnes, Sam, James, George, Marie, Beatrice, Nellie, Nelson, Alice and Harold.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Hayes (Hutchinson); his children, Steven Hayes (Shirley) of Kincardine, Kellvin Hayes (Ruth) of Cargill and Emily Ferris (Steven) of Paisley; his grandchildren, Miranda (Andrew), Keegan (Claire), Nathan (Leanne), Connor (Sarah), Tristan, Trent and Sarah; his sibling Alvery (Marjorie) of Lucknow; his siblings-in-law, Lorna Phelan (Martin) of Ripley, Marion Hayes of Goderich, Alex Nivins of Nile and Patricia Hayes of Hanover; and his sister Margaret Traxler. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews & friends.
