She was predeceased by: her husband Anton Hietveld of Kincardine; her granddaughter Emily Grace Cottrill; her parents, Albert Ribbink and Jantje Ribbink; and her brothers, Herman and John.

She is survived by: her children, Joanie Gauthier (Norm) of Kincardine, Jane Cottrill (Val) of Waterloo and Betty Ann McNulty (Jerry) of Kincardine; her grandchildren, Danielle Vangaver (Travis), Curtis Gauthier (Cassandra), James Cottrill (Shelly), Martha Fedorak (Bryan), Sara Vinandy (Brad), Ali Hofstetter (Travis), Molly Nixon (James) and Nick McNulty (Aaron Davis); her great grandchildren, Alex, Alayna, Drew VanGaver, Weston Gauthier, Isla, Cameron, Everly Vinandy, Eli, Annie Hofstetter and Caileigh Nixon; and her siblings, Johanna Leeflang, Geraldine Toman, Jan MacDonald and Albert Ribbink. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
