She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Roesner and Esther Roesner; her husband Harold Byers; her grandson Jason Byers; her great grandchild Ebony Dubé; and her siblings, Adeline Zohr, Irene Bimm, Frances Tennant, Audrey Whitworth, Verner, Walter, Gordon and Osborne.
She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline (Stewart), Gwendolyn (Dolton), Carolyn (Dean), Arnold (Roxanne) and Edward (Lorna); and her sisters, Ruth Rice, Colette Simpson and Lois Goodman. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
