He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Wendy Buske; his children, Jennifer Neville (Bart) of Petawawa and Brett Buske (Alanda) of Petawawa; his grandchildren, Jaida, Hannah, Gabrielle, Aidan, Benjamin, Ryne, Mya and Carter; and his brother Gordon Buske (late Rita).
Due to the constraints of the covid-19 pandemic, a Memorial Service for Mick will be held in St. John's Lutheran Church, Black Bay, Petawawa, when permissible.
