Marie Brohart Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marie Brohart of Killaloe, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 30, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Brodhagen and Doreen Brodhagen; her former husband Eldon Hoppenrath; and her siblings-in-law, Howard Greenfield, Ron McLean and Berniece McEwen.
She is survived by: her husband Lavern; her children, Lee-anne Selves (Mike) and Wayne Hoppenrath (Marnie); her stepson Michael Brohart (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Marien Carrat (Matt), Mia Hoppenrath, Ashley Blair (Jesse), Quinton and Joel Brohart; her great grandchildren, Miles, Max Carrat, Amara and Harrison Blair; and her siblings, George (Joan), Kathy Greenfield, Frank Brodhagen, Robert (Therese), Gary (Kim), Henry (Sandy) and Joanne Foster (Dan). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family would appreciate donations in memory of Marie, to either the St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation, or the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County.
