He was predeceased by: his wife Esther (Hartwig); his sister Esther; his brother-in-law Versal Scheel; his sister Martha; his brother-in-law Ivan Hartwick; his brother John Buchwald; and his stepson Terrie Felhaber.
He is survived by: his children, Barry, Wayne, Mark (Heather) and Trudy Bozak (Johnny); his siblings, Herman (Beaulah) and Elizabeth Kuehl (Warren); and his sister-in-law Sylvia Buchwald (Gilmore). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren.
