He was predeceased by: his daughter Stephanie; his parents, Daniel Yourth and Lydia Yourth (Coal); and his siblings, Fern Payer, Marion Murray, Jean Panke, Nelson and Neale.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine (Schoenfeldt); his sons, Christopher (Juliane) and Matthew Yourth; and his grandchildren, Lena and Felix Yourth.
