He was predeceased by: his son Isaac Michael David. He is survived by: his wife Marina; his children, Reverend Anthony Burchat, John (Miriam), Joseph (Colleen), Catherine (John Sawchuk), Gabriel (Kristen), James (Stephanie), William (Emily), Anne, Nathaniel and Jeremy; his grandchildren, Lucille, Sybil, Adeline, Peter, Georgia and Caroline; his parents, Benidict Burchat and Helen Burchat; and his siblings, Edna (Kevin Yutronkie), Elizabeth (Brian Pecoskie) and Reverend John Burchat.
In lieu of flowers Gerry requested that at least 100 Catholic Masses be said for the repose of his soul.
