She was predeceased by: her siblings, Wanita Lueders, Margaret Burke and Jack Ostroskie. She is survived by: her children, Randy (Penny), Linda Smith (Bob), Veronda (Danny Cybulskie) and Ralph; her sister-in-law Vivian; and her grandchildren, Owen Smith (Terri-Lynn), Jeannie Ivory (Graeme), Patrick (Katie) and Kyle (Darian). She is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Donations in Dorothy's honour may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Calabogie Animal Rescue (CARE).
