She was predeceased by: her husband John Hazelton; and her parents, Joseph LaRochelle and Mary LaRochelle (Summers). She is survived by: her children, Dennyse, Kevin, Joan, Brian (Megan McIntyre), Karen (Wayne Lavigne) and Howard (Patricia Kulas); and her siblings, Agnes Lavigueur, Germaine Howard, Greg and M. J. LaRochelle. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
