He was predeceased by: his child Diane; his brother Peter (Helma); and his parent-in-law Vincent Cutrara. He is survived by: his spouse Rose Marie; his child David (Sabrina); his stepchildren, Mark, Ashley (Lisa) and Joshua; his grandfather Dean; his grandchild William; his brothers, Michael (Mary) and Hans (Phyllis); his parent-in-law Antionette Cutrara; his siblings-in-law, Constance (Larry), Joanne (Greg) and Michael (Lana); and his nieces and nephews, Adam, Alexa, Amber, Sophia, Alvaro Jr., Robert, Bradley, Taylor, Landon, Avery, Annelise, Miles, Kristen, Julia, Dylan, Justin, Luke and Austin.

Memorial donations to the Southlake Regional Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated by the family.
