He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Paul-Marsh. He is survived by: his children, Larry Pless of Torrance, Kelly and Mark Collins of Midland; his grandchildren, Kayla (Geoffrey), Zachary (Emma), Amanda and Ashley; his siblings, Merlyn and Jan Brandenberg of Cape Town; and his nephew Mark.

In memory of Russ, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Hospice Georgina or Women's Support Network of York Region would be appreciated.
