He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Patchett; his grandson Kyle; his brother William Patchett (England); and his brother-in-law Gerald Rowley. He is survived by: his children, Stephen of Keswick, Andrew (Heidi) of Queensville, Nancy of Queensville and Dawn of New Brunswick; his grandchildren, Stephen, Jamie, Gerald, Tyler, Brittany, Tricia and Nathan; and his siblings-in-law, Josephine "Jo" McNeill of Toronto, John Rowley (Anne) of Scotland and Ronald Rowley of South Africa.
