He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sandra Beattie of Keswick; his son Scott Beattie (Mary); his granddaughters, Jessica of Mississauga and Stephanie Beattie of Mississauga; his sister Jane Hawkins (Terry Hawkins) of Keswick; his siblings-in-law, Colleen (Bob Corby) of Ottawa, Barbara King of Toronto and Michael Hill (Juanita) of Nova Scotia; and his nieces and nephews, Stephen Trenholme of Keswick, Andrea (Dean Muir) of Newmarket, Manon Leblanc-Hill of New Brunswick, Rob of Ottawa, Greg of Ottawa and Jon Guy Corby of Ottawa.
