He is survived by: his parents, James Ion and Korina Welch (Craig Dennis); his sibling Jax Dennis; his grandparents, Alida (Richard Simister), Paul Ion and Amy McKay; his great-grandparent Shirley McKay; his partner Maddy Hill; his aunts and uncles, Korey Welch (Jessie), Cheryl Ion, Nicole Ion, Chris MacDonald (Ann), Katie (Corey Paul), Britanny Blake, Kyle MacDonald and Calvin Briscoe; and his cousins, Hunter and Hailie Salmons.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the M. W. Becker Funeral Home (490 The Queensway S, Keswick, ON L4P 2E3).
In Lieu of flowers, he would love donations be made to the Georgina Animal Shelter (https://www.georgina.ca) as well as more donations for funding to the Upper York Admirals Hockey team to continue Nolan's love and passion for hockey.
