He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Bertha McGenerty; his children, Anne, Wayne (Lorelei) and Keith (Renee); his grandchildren, Tyler (Chrissi), Justin, Stephanie (Ryan), Brittany (Duane), Natasha (Jarrod) and Avery; and his siblings, Carole Bassie (late Len), Ruth Weringa (Ed), Barb Bassie (Paul) and Alvin (Wendy). He was also cherished by his many nieces, nephews.
