Magdalena Planer Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Magdalena Planer (Keswick, Ontario), who passed away on January 1, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Stefan Planer; her daughter Pauline (Otto Zirger); and her brother Lucas Hochmut (Matilda). She is survived by: her children, Steven Planer (Leiane) of Keswick and Magdalena (Jose Macedo) of Keswick; her grandchildren, Tanya Zirger, Michael, Mark, Jennifer, Nikki and Darci; her great grandchildren, Hudson, Samantha, Dustin, Karl and Eric; and her siblings, Eva Stribl of Lohaf, Munich, Germany and Paul Harfman.

Private family visitation held on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from 11 to 12 p. m., followed by Prayers in the Chapel at 12 noon. (Current COVID-19 restrictions include the mandatory wearing of masks and adhering to a social distancing protocol and only allowing 9 people in the building at a time, by invitation only).

In memory of Magdalena, donations to the Southlake Regional Health Centre would be appreciated.
