He was predeceased by: his sister Florence Ley; and also, Mervin and Eddie. He is survived by: his wife Gladys Vine of Keswick; his daughter Sheila (late Rusty Smith) of Newmarket; his stepchildren, Michael, Ricky and Lisa Southwood; and his grandchildren, Alyssa (Shawn Hinchley) of Sutton and Andrew Smith of Newmarket. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.
