He was predeceased by: his wife Winnifred Cochrane; and his siblings, Ron, Thelma, Shirley, Fred and Patrick.

He is survived by: his children, Doug Cochrane (Sylvia) of Newmarket and Pat (Phil Dimitrovski) of Mount Albert, ON.; his grandchildren, Leslie (Mark), Tammy and Chris (Diana); his great grandchildren, Ashley, Samantha and Philip; his great great grandchildren, Mandie, Kaylee, Jackson and Ryler; and his siblings, Ken (Shirley), Mary (Don) and Linda. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, family and friends.
