She was predeceased by: her mother Donalda Benedict; and her nephew Mitchell. She is survived by: her father Rodger Benedict of Kerwood; her siblings, Lorne Benedict (Tracy), Barbara Brenneman (Boyd) and Lorri Primeau (Jeff); and her nieces and nephews, Monique, Laura, Megan, Carly Benedict, Brooke and Graham Primeau.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Arthritis Society of Canada or the London Health Sciences Centre would be appreciated by the family.
