Valerie Fisher Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valerie Fisher (Kenora, Ontario), who passed away on March 23, 2022, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Scott (Muzhinigeyshick) and Mary Jane Scott (Poozh); her brothers, Gary and Jimmy Scott; her brothers-in-law, Rex McDonald, Jack Kent, Ernie Loranger and Fred Mandamin; her sisters, Patricia Scott, Jessie Scott, Deborah Scott, Rhonda Scott and Linda Kent; her sister-in-law Linda Muckle; and her nieces and nephews, Gary, Eric, Leroy, Orval, Ryan, James, Steven, Keith, Samantha, Shauna, Crystal and Karen.

She is survived by: her aunt Margaret Quewezance; her close friends, Emily Scott, Joyce Scott, Sandra Scott (Tom), Mary Jane McDonald (Charles) and Geraldine Scott; her children, Erica Mandamin (Gabriel), Ariel Fisher (Shayne), Patricia Fisher (Tristen) and Grey Cloud Fisher; her grandchild Aryiah Coon Come; her former husband Eric Fisher; and her daughter Valerie. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces.

The family insists that people make donations in support of Indian Residential School and Indian Day School Survivors, in lieu of sending flowers.
