He is survived by: his wife Lynda McDonald; his sons, Jeremy and Lyle (Savannah); his grandchildren, Cheyenne, Sage (Karlee), Kayden, Redhawk (Hannah), Ryver, Raven, Rayanne (Corbin), Ethan, Jerica, Raya, Jerden, Jerlyn and Sasha; his great grandchildren, Cairus, Galaxy, Waabigwan, Oaklyn, Oren, Waaseyaakwe, Kailyn and Richard; his sisters, Myrna, Elsie, Marilyn, Marlene, Patricia and Mary; his close friends, Leonard Fisher, Perry Kejick, Reggie Paishk, Peter Luce and Jim Kakagamic; his son Richard Lee McDonald; his grandson Raymond Joshua Wesley (R. J.); his siblings, John McDonald, Eddie McDonald (Mac) and Elva McDonald; and his niece Jayelle Napish-Yik.
