He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Blackmon and Ethel Blackmon of Flin Flon, M. B.; his brother-in-law Nivel Tata of Winnipeg, M. B.; and his parents-in-law, Terry and Dorothy Byington (Gibbons) of Keewatin.
He is survived by: his wife Maggie; his children, Jennifer (Terry) of Kenora, Matthew of Saskatoon, Sask, Mark (Kaylee) of Oshawa, Christine (Max) and Luke of Kenora; his former wife Grace Braaten; his children, Kirk and Heather of Flin Flon, M. B; and his siblings, Donna Norman (John) of Roblin, Judy (Nivel) of Winnipeg, M. B., Wanda (Steve) of Brandon, M. B. and Doug of Rorketon. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, neices and nephews.
