Richard Shodin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Shodin (Kenora, Ontario), who passed away on December 29, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Shodin and Jean Shodin (Onarheim); and his sister Linda Miclash (Dave). He is survived by: his wife Brenda (Reynolds); his children, Ericka (Chaitanya Mandalappu) and Christopher (Jillian Stajkowski); and his siblings, Karin Marchant (Dan), Diane Giles (Chris), John, Jack (Dolores), Susan Turner (Brian) and Stephen (Sheila). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, 32 great-nieces and nephews and 5 great-great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of gratitude honouring Richard are suggested to Knox United Church - Kenora Ontario, the Palliative Care Program at Kenora's Lake of the Woods District Hospital or a charitable effort of your own choosing.
