He is survived by: his parents, Doug Dufresne and Eva Dufresne (Shapland); his wife Laurel; his children, Rheall, Ema and Leia; his brother Mark (Stephanie); his nieces, Rachel, Elizabeth and Alexandra; his brother Shaun (Lori); his nephew Adam; his niece Renee; his mother-in-law Carolyn Hansen; his brother-in-law Brad Hansen (Diane); and his nieces and nephews, Lyndsay, Jay and Mackenzie.
