We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2023, at the age of 76, Matilda Blackhead (Kenora, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julias Bird and Alice Bird; her siblings, Gloria, Helen, Esther, Stanley and Douglas; her son James; her nephews, Dennis Sandy (Donnaleen), Gerald Jack (Earl) and Peter Griffiths; and her sister Geraldine Sandy.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Carrie; her brother Peter; her brother-in-law Ken Sandy; her daughters, Sandra and Sheila; her nieces, Diane (Moe), Shelly (Mike), Laurie (Richard), Rhonda (Gary), Barbara (Rob) and Lynn (Clay); and her significant other Andy Ketchum. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, many great nieces and nephews.
