He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Carlson and Felix Carlson; his sisters, Lenora Toews and Shirley Dyck; and his son-in-law Larry Cottam.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Rogers; his children, Allan Carlson and Judy Cottam; his grandchildren, Jillian (Benjamin), Garret (Chloe), Darbey (Cody) and Gavin; his great grandchildren, Arthur and Wesley; his cousin Ken (Delores); and his siblings-in-law, Nelda Rogers, Jean Holmstrom and Walter Gustafson. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
After retirement in 1987, Lloyd volunteered for many organizations - Alzheimer's Society, CPR EFAP, KBI (Director/First Weighmaster) and Retired Railroaders Association.
