She was predeceased by: her brother Barrie Giroux; and her parents, Robert Giroux and Dorothy Giroux. She is survived by: her husband Bruce Ponton; her son Mark Ponton (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Blaine, Aubrey and Jeff Ponton (Krista); her great grandchildren, Jada and Tyson; and also Amelia. She is also survived by 2 half-sisters, 4 step siblings, numerous nieces and nephews.
