It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kevin Douglas Ward (Kenora, Ontario), born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, who passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth "Betty" Ward and William "Willy" Ward; and his grandchild Peyton. He is survived by: his wife Kelly Gross; his children, Allison Longe (Justin) and Simon Ward (Vanna); his stepdaughters, Destiny Gross (Patrick) and Darris Gross (Rob); his grandchildren, Nolan, Jaxon, Ivan, Emerson and Holden; his siblings, Terry Beaton, Laurie, John and Kelly; his sister-in-law Jackie Collins; and his friend Randy Small. He is also survived by his family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Thunder Bay Cancer Care or Kenora District Hospital in Kevin's honour.
