It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert Wagamese (Kenora, Ontario), born in Jaffray Melick, Ontario, who passed away on May 23, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Flora; his siblings, Joe, Horace, Charlie, Marjorie, Mary, Elsie and Betty Ann; his nieces, Catherine Bird, Rosemary Bombay and Emily Wagamese; and his nephew Richard Wagamese.
He is survived by: his children, Jordon Fisher and Flora; his brothers, Archie and David Wagamese; his great-nieces, Hailee and Aubrey; his daughter Rhonda (Gary); his grandchildren, Elias, Jade, Barb (Rob), Lynn (Clay), Debbie (Donnie), Peter (Tracy), Joe Hill, Douglas Smith, Phyllis and Lisa Land; and also, Charles Wagamese (Lori), Nathan, Gina Peters, Tula and Angie.
