He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Anne; his brother Brian; and his sisters-in-law, Thelma and Bev.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his daughter Nancy Smith (Wes); his stepson Curtis (Loraine); his granddaughter Stephanie Bryan (John); his daughter Karen Sinclair (Al); his grandsons, Eric (Calisha), Stuart and James; and his siblings, Ray, Warren, Ken and Joanne Norlen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
