It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Chris Tonkin of Kenora, Ontario, born in Timmins, Ontario, who passed away on October 1, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Tonkin and Dawn Tonkin of Timmins; and his sister Jane Edward (Steve) of Hanmer. He is survived by: his children, Ruth Tonkin of Winnipeg, Steven Tonkin (Pam) of Barrie, Mary Hull (Dennis) of Hanmer and Allan Tonkin of Kenora; his stepsons, Darren Greenough (Tara) of Kitchener and Chris Greenough (Kailey) of Toronto; his grandchildren, Jimmie, Holly Tonkin, Lauren, Rachel Hull, Chloe, Autumn Tonkin and Grandfer; and his siblings, Tim Tonkin (Barb) of Timmins and Alison Monette of Winnipeg.

Regrettably, due to COVID-19 restrictions, the tribute service in honour of Chris' life will be by invitation only.
