He was predeceased by: his daughter Linda Matthews; and his parents, Paul Matthews and Dora Matthews (Harris). He is survived by: his wife Diane Matthews (Dover); his daughters, Jane Matthews and Catherine Matthews (Steve); his grandchildren, Katelynn Matthews and James Matthews; and his brother Christopher Matthews (Kathy).
