He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Rainer, Ralph, Roland, Ruth and Robert Jr.; and his stepchildren, Winfried and Dietmar Gebhardt. He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
