He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva Triebe and Walter Triebe; his siblings, Georg Triebe and Monika Vaz (Triebe); and his former wife Traudl Triebe (Imsland).

He is survived by: his wife Mary Triebe (Crowe); his brother Walter; his children, Andrew, Robert and Greg; his grandchildren, Justin, Aaron, Connor and Jake; and his children-in-law, Urte and Lena. He is also survived by his nephew and grandson, Rainer will be long remembered by the many great monuments he constructed for friends.
