He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Paul (Jen), Wendy (Dan) and Sandra (Gregg); his grandchildren, Amanda (Alex), Christopher (Heather), Andrew, Mathew (Dakota), Cameron, Steven and Derek; and his great grandchildren, Anderson, Amelia and Finley.

The family requests donations to the Heart Institute in lieu of flowers.
